Frequently asked questions
Good to Know
What's the difference between whiteboard film and whiteboard paint?
Wryte whiteboard film installs faster, works on glass and comes in magnetic and projectable versions. ZETA whiteboard paint creates a permanent, seamless writing wall with full colour flexibility. We'll recommend one based on your wall and how it will be used.
Can you install on glass?
Yes. Selected Wryte films are suitable for meeting room glass, office fronts and writable glass panels. Whiteboard paint isn't suitable for glass.
Can my wall be magnetic and writable?
Yes. ZETA Magnetic Plaster finished with ZETA Whiteboard Paint gives a seamless magnetic whiteboard wall. Magnetic Wryte film is another option.
How strong is a magnetic wall?
Holding strength depends on the system build-up, the topcoat and the magnets used. Strong neodymium magnets give the best hold. Magnetic walls are for paper, photos and light display items, not shelves or heavy objects. Visit our showroom to test the holding strength yourself.
Can I choose my wall colour?
Yes. ZETA Whiteboard Paint is clear, so the base colour shows through, and magnetic plaster sits hidden under your chosen paint. White gives the best marker contrast. Note that some topcoats can reduce magnetic holding strength; we'll advise on a suitable build-up.
Will the surface hide cracks or uneven walls?
No. Films and coatings follow the surface beneath, so walls need proper preparation. We'll check this during assessment.
How long until I can write on a painted whiteboard wall?
ZETA Whiteboard Paint needs 7 full days to cure before first use. Whiteboard film can usually be used soon after installation.
Which markers should we use?
Good-quality dry-erase markers such as Pilot V Board Master. Avoid permanent markers, paint markers and abrasive cleaning tools. We'll give you a care guide at handover.
Do you work with main contractors and interior designers?
Yes. We regularly support project teams with surface recommendations, quotations with clear scope, and coordinated installation through TWJ Painting Services. Use the project quote form to send drawings or tender details.
How do I get a quote?
WhatsApp 8089 7248 with photos (if you have them), approximate size, location and what you need the surface to do. We'll advise a practical option and arrange a site assessment if needed.
