Larger area or a feature wall? Ask for professional installation. Results depend on wall preparation: the wall must be smooth and properly painted before you start.
How the DIY application works
Prepare
Smooth, clean, painted wall. Mask the edges with tape.
Mix
Combine Pack A and B, stir gently for 3 minutes. Keep 1/3 aside.
Roll 2 coats
Roll 2/3 on evenly, wait about 2 hours, then roll the rest.
Cure 7 days
Leave the wall to cure for 7 days before writing.

- No texture, putty, limewash, wallpaper or damp

- 7 days of curing in your project schedule

What is ZETA Whiteboard Paint?
A premium two-part, water-based clear coating that turns smooth, properly prepared interior walls or panels into a seamless dry-erase writing surface, without frames or visible joints.
Can I choose any wall colour?
Yes. ZETA Whiteboard Paint is clear, so the colour comes from the painted base coat underneath. White gives the best marker contrast; grey, brand colours and feature colours work where design matters more than maximum contrast.
Will the wall still look like a normal wall?
It keeps your wall colour, but the finish is smoother and glossier than ordinary matte paint, so it reads as a writable surface.
Can I apply it myself?
Yes, for small areas. Our 3 sqm DIY kit comes with an application guide. The wall must be smooth and properly painted first, and the two parts must be mixed and rolled on evenly. For large walls, feature walls and commercial projects, we recommend our professional installation.
What surfaces are suitable?
Smooth, properly painted interior surfaces such as painted gypsum board, plasterboard, MDF or plywood panels and cement board. It isn't for bare concrete, putty, limewash, textured or sand-textured paint, wallpaper, damp walls, exterior walls or glass.
Can it go over textured paint?
No. The coating follows the surface below it, so a textured wall gives a textured writing surface that won't erase cleanly. The wall needs to be made smooth first.
How long before we can write on it?
Allow 7 full days of curing before first use. Writing before it has fully cured may permanently damage or stain the surface.
Is it magnetic?
Not by itself. For a magnetic writable wall, apply ZETA Whiteboard Paint over ZETA Magnetic Plaster.
Can it be used for projection?
It's writable, but not designed as a projection surface because of its gloss. If projection matters, we may recommend a matte or projectable whiteboard film instead.
Which markers should we use?
Good-quality dry-erase markers such as Pilot V Board Master or equivalent. Avoid permanent markers, liquid chalk markers, dry-erase crayons, paint markers, ballpoint pens and sharp objects.
How do we clean it?
Erase daily with a clean microfibre cloth or foam duster. For old writing, wipe with a damp cloth first. For stubborn marks, use a whiteboard cleaner, then wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid alcohol, ammonia, harsh solvents and scouring pads.
Paint or film: which should I choose?
Choose ZETA Whiteboard Paint for a permanent, seamless writing wall in your own colours. Choose Wryte whiteboard film for faster installation, glass, magnetic or projectable versions, or lower disruption. We'll recommend the better fit after a site check.
