LED film in useYour Glass Could Be Working Harder
Storefronts, showroom glass and lobby partitions are often blank. Traditional screens block views, take up space and close off the interior. Display films let you show brand visuals, promotions and motion graphics on glass while it stays largely see-through.

LED Film & UTDAR Film Questions, Answered
What is the difference between LED Film and UTDAR Film?
LED Film is a transparent film with built-in LEDs that shows bright digital content on glass by itself. UTDAR Film is an ultra-thin projection film: it needs a projector and media source, and creates a floating visual effect on glass or acrylic. We recommend one or the other after looking at your site, viewing distance and display objective.
Can LED Film be installed on existing glass?
Often, yes. LED Film is self-adhesive and can be retrofitted onto suitable existing glass, including some curved glass. The glass type, size and condition must be assessed first.
How transparent is LED Film?
Transparency depends on the pixel pitch chosen. The supplier-reported physical transparency is about 50 to 90%, with higher visual transparency at a suitable viewing distance. We confirm the right pitch for your viewing distance and content.
Is LED Film visible in bright environments?
Brightness is adjustable and is selected to suit the site and content. Very bright, direct-sun locations need careful assessment, so we check lighting conditions during the site visit.
Does UTDAR Film need a projector?
Yes. UTDAR Film works with a projector and media source. Performance depends on projector brightness, distance, viewing angle and ambient light, so it is best for indoor or controlled-light spaces.
What content can be displayed?
Brand visuals, promotions, product videos, festive visuals and motion graphics. Content is supplied by you or your creative agency; we advise on formats and viewing conditions.
Do you supply the glass?
No. Forest3 Design supplies and installs the display film onto suitable glass supplied by others, and we coordinate with your glass supplier, facade contractor or main contractor.
Does it need power and control equipment?
LED Film needs power and a controller; UTDAR Film needs a projector and media player. Power points, cable routes and control equipment are planned during the site assessment and confirmed in the final specification.
Is it for permanent or event use?
Both can suit long-term installations such as storefronts and lobbies, as well as campaigns and events, depending on the site and project requirements.
